Over the past several months, on various woodworking sites, I have read posts of finishers exhaulting the abilities of HF HVLP conversion gun. At around $40.00 I find this hard to believe. It has a 1.4 set up and mentions no other options in the description.
I do not recall what the people were spraying.
Cheap guns can be used for spraying stains or sealers where you don't need "off the gun" type material applications. This is esp. true when spraying a stain that's gonna be wiped. I know a shop where they have separate guns for light, medium and dark stains.
thats a really good quality spray gun for that price.
ya will not regret if you use one time. i have several guns i use for different application but HB Purple 1.4 is the one that i use %60 of the year.
i use it for spraying shellac, poly, laquer and have no complaint.even i spray the wine cabinet with water base clear and i cannot believe my self )))trying is believing.look the pictures on my topic.
good luck.
