QualSpray DP-1SS If you are tired of the hassles of using a pressurized pot, or want a simple and convenient way to spray finishes from larger containers, you should consider a double diaphragm pump setup. These setups use air from your compressor  (only 6 cfm required) to power a low maintenance pump to siphon finish from your finish container and deliver it to your spray gun. A pressure accumulator keeps the finish from pulsating so you get a smooth and gentle delivery. The air regulator used to operate the speed of the pump flows air on the outlet side to power your spray gun. Our pump is all stainless steel so there are no finish compatibility issues with solvent based or water based finishes. This is the most user-friendly pump on the market and novices should be able to get it up and running quickly. It is fully assembled and requires only that you flip the pump over, (it's mounted upside down on the stand for shipping) and attach the inlet and return hoses.

Where a diaphragm pump shines is cleanup. After back-flushing the finish in the fluid line to the pump, you use the pumps re-circulating hose to pump all your finish back into the container and then use a separate pail with clean-up solvent to circulate it through the pump to clean the fluid lines and pump.

You can run any existing compressor driven gun with a 3/8" fluid fitting with our pump. So it's easy to convert your existing setup or choose from one of the complete packages below. It's advisable to install a filter (see #QS-200FR below) to ensure clean dry air is running the pump if you have no filtration for your compressed air. Also needed is a second air regulator (#51-522)on the outlet side of the pump unless you have a regulator installed on your existing gun
