9/20/2010 - Update on 3M/Accuspray Shipments:
Parts are slowly becoming available again
and we are replenishing our inventory and should have most of the
products shown on the
parts page.
Check valves, cup gaskets and diaphragm lids and most other consumables
should be in stock. Special parts orders will still take time. The #10,
10G and 10GP's are available, but our stocks are limited. Turbines and
special application guns like the 12SZ are available but we can't commit
to ETA's and we cannot be responsible for any delays. Your credit card is never
charged until the order is shipped.
3M (formerly Accuspray) has a
wide range of guns for the professional and discriminating finisher.
Considered by many to have the best HVLP turbine gun made, they also make
guns for compressed air and many special applications including glue.
There are 2 categories:
Turbine HVLP Guns
work from a turbine unit, whether it is Accuspray or another manufacturer.
They will also work with compressed air by ordering the 36-00 regulator (see
parts). If your turbine is a non-bleeder style, any of the turbine guns will
work. If you have a bleeder style turbine, order part #92-127 pressure
release valve.
HVLP Conversion
Guns work with a compressor only.
If you have a small compressor rated at under 8 cfm at 40 psi, use the 19c
gun.
TURBINE HVLP GUNS
If you own an existing Accuspray or
another manufacturers' non-bleeder style turbine, consider
upgrading to the legendary Accuspray #10 gun. Available as a
pressurized cup feed or non-pressurized gravity feed, you can add a
secondary gun to your rig or replace an old one. Many finishers have
separate guns for colors and clears. The #10 is the gun that comes with
turbine systems. The non-pressurized #10g is great for delicate
shading, toning or repair work.
