The
Lynx Spray Gun is a pressure feed gun, and like
the Jaguar, it features solid, dependable construction and is made in the
USA. It's available two ways. Team it up with a remote pressure pot from
C.A. Technologies (gun body shown below), or just buy it with the 1 quart
pressure cup attached.

Jaguar Gravity Feed Spray Gun
The Jaguar J100H is a much lower cfm gun
if you have a smaller compressor. Features the same great atomization as the
JSLP, but with less compressor. Only 6-8 cfm required, which is in the range
of most smaller shop compressors. At this price there is no better gun!

The Jaguar sprays like a dream. After talking
with you I was expecting good, but it is phenomenal.
You may recall that on my current project
I'm spraying oil based BM Impervo. I used the 1.7 mm needle and the 1093
air cap. My Porter Cable side-stack portable compressor is rated at 8.3
SCFM at 40 PSIG and I cut a long section of 1/2 inch air hose down to 15
feet. I thinned with Naphtha to 50 seconds using a #4 Ford cup. It took
me 10-15 minutes of practice on cardboard to get the settings dialed in.
I started at 15 PSI on the regulator and the atomization was good--when
I took it up to 18 (stamped on the air cap) the atomization was
flawless.
As a rule, I always sand between coats,
but this morning I ran my hand over the dry finish and I'm seriously
contemplating not sanding. The finish is that good. The Jaguar is
clearly a high-precision, high- quality piece of equipment. In the past
I'd always leaned toward hand- applied finishes.That's all changed now,
I know I'll be spraying a lot more in the future.
Oh, and the 3M system makes cleanup
almost a joy--very easy and fast, what a great invention.

Pressure Feed Spray Gun
The
FE-Line (Finish Excellence) Spray Gun is a pressure feed gun, and
similar to the Lynx, except about 2/3rds the size. This small, lightweight
gun is really maneuverable and easy to spray with. Like
the Lynx , it features solid, dependable construction and is made in the
USA.
There are 2 models: The
FE-Line Low-CFM (LCFM - 6 cfm at 15 psi required) which is used with
small compressors, and the FE-Line Fine Finish (FEFF - 13cfm at 29
psi) which requires a larger compressor and uses the exclusive 12-point
plenum for exceptional atomization. The gun you choose will be dictated by
your compressor output. Call us for details if you are not sure.

CPR/HVLP SPRAY GUNS
CAT CPR/HVLP Spray Guns
CPR stands for Cat Reduced
Pressure, also known as HTE (High Transfer Efficiency). This is a newer
technology that incorporates the high transfer efficiency of HVLP spraying,
but at a higher pressure. This results in superior atomization, however it
requires a larger compressor than most low cfm HVLP spray guns. CPR uses the
12 point fine-finish plenum and come with a CPR aircap and an HVLP aircap.
